Our raw materials are sourced from suppliers using 100% virgin FSC® or PEFC® certified fibres. FSC® and PEFC® certification enable supplier to demonstrate their excellence in sustainable forest management. Manufacturing our paper straws in the UK also eliminates the need to import straws from faraway places. This is a significant contribution to enabling the UK to reduce its carbon footprint, meet the UK's net zero emissions target by 2050 and help save the planet.

All our papers straws and packaging are biodegradable, recyclable, compostable and eco friendly. Our iconic paper straws break down completely and naturally into non-toxic components that will not harm the environment. Our paper straws are made from plastic free materials meeting European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) and the USA Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards for food safe products and in compliance with the UK’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines.
